Gin poles are used in various industries including telecom, broadcast and transmission to lift heavy loads and install them at specified elevation.

MEI was involved in the development of the TIA 1019 Standard “Structural Standards for Steel Gin Poles Used for the Installation of Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures”.

MEI can perform an analysis/design or prepare rating documentation of Gin poles as per TIA standard.

MEI can also analyze the supporting structure for the impact of the erection loads.Any special load requirements would be evaluated and the overall impact onto the structure will be assessed.
